Gordon Brown and Alex Salmond will give evidence to the Leveson Inquiry, it has been confirmed.
The former Prime Minister and the First Minister will appear before Lord Leveson, who is presiding over the review into media practices and ethics, next week.
Mr Brown, who is MP for Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath, will give evidence on Monday, on the same day as Chancellor George Osborne.
Mr Salmond will follow Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg on Wednesday.
Lord Leveson will also hear from former Prime Minister Sir John Major on Tuesday and Prime Minister David Cameron on Thursday.
The Leveson Inquiry was set up in the aftermath of the phone-hacking scandal which led to the closure of the News of the World.
