Vandals have toppled a number of gravestones at a north-east cemetery.
Several gravestones were tipped over at Elgin Cemetery, on Linkwood Road, sometime between Friday and Saturday.
It is not known if the headstones were damaged when they were toppled.
Police are appealing for anyone with information on the vandalism to come forward.
Constable Kenny MacConnachie said: "Elgin Cemetery is a well-maintained cemetery and this is a rare occurence.
"This is extremely distressing to the families who care and tend to these graves and as such I am keen to trace those who are responsible."
