A cottage close to football grounds in Aberdeen has been destroyed by a "suspicious" fire.
Three fire engines were sent to tackle the blaze at the old Dobbies Garden Centre on Hazledene Road on Wednesday night.
Grampian Police say the fire, which destroyed a derelict gardener's cottage close to Hazlehead football pitches, is being treated as deliberate.
The alarm was raised at around 8.15pm and fire crews spent more than an hour tackling the flames.
A main jet, four breathing cylinders, a thermal camera and a ventilation fan were all used.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information about the fire to come forward.
They are particularly keen to hear from any motorists or dog walkers who were near the area at the time.
Anyone with information can phone Grampian Police on 0845 6005700 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
