A driver had to be rescued from his car after it plunged 40ft off a cliff and landed on its roof.
The 56-year-old man was trapped in his silver Peugeot 308 after it came off the road near Aberdeen and careered down the rocky embankment around 6pm on Wednesday.
Two fire engines took more than an hour to free the man from the overturned vehicle when they arrived at the scene, off Colsea Road at Cove Bay.
The injured man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
A Grampian Police spokesman said his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A Grampian Fire & Rescue spokeswoman said: "We rescued one male casualty from the vehicle using hydraulic spreaders."
