Heavy snow and ice is expected to return to parts of Scotland on Thursday, weather forecasters have warned.
Frequent snow showers are expected to fall across the north and north-west of the country which could cause problems for travels in the area.
The Met Office has warned up to 15cm of snow could fall in higher ground, while snow and ice could cause hazardous conditions on lower areas.
Strong winds could also create a risk of drifting snow.
The yellow Be Aware warning issued by the Met Office says the wintry weather could last into Friday morning.
Motorists are being warned to expect icy conditions on routes across the region.
