Aberdeen FC have confirmed they are looking to place young apprentice football players within a family environment located in Aberdeen City.
The SPL club have already found landlords and landladies for several members of their Under-20 squad, who live further afield than the north-east.
Now, they are inviting Aberdeen residents to help provide accommodation, meals, and a settled environment for two youngsters from the west of Scotland.
The Pittodrie organisation are offering what they describe as a "generous" remuneration package for the successful candidates.
Michelle Robb, who works at Aberdeen FC, told STV Local how the scheme operated.
She said: "The boys will need a room each and we would expect those looking after them to provide a healthy breakfast and a cooked meal in the evening.
"There are certain criteria for anybody who is interested in looking after these youngsters, and we always do our best to place the boys with the right families.
"Usually, they would be in Aberdeen from Monday to Friday, and return home at weekends - the Under-20 fixtures are held in midweek, so there isn't a clash for most of the season.
"It's quite a big commitment, but it can also be a rewarding one."
The initiative has been labelled: "Help Raise the Stars of Tomorrow."
