A teacher will appear before a hearing next week following allegations that she inappropriately handled pupils.

Lorraine Bloice, 32, faces three charges when she appears before the GTC Fitness to Teach Panel on Monday.

Ms Bloice, who had previously taught music at Harlaw Academy in Aberdeen, is accused of using offensive and inappropriate language towards, and in relation to, pupils at a different school. She also allegedly behaved inappropriately towards colleagues and inappropriately handled pupils.

Ms Bloice was unavailable for comment. The hearing, at the GTC Scotland office in Edinburgh, is expected to last for two days.
