Death of man found at property in Orkney treated as 'unexplained'

The death of a man in Orkney is being treated as “unexplained” by police.

Officers were called to a property on Flotta Island on Monday and discovered the body of a man.

The man has not yet been named by police.

A spokeswoman for Northern Constabulary said: “Enquiries are being carried out to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the man's death, which is currently unexplained.

“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
