Peterhead FC have announced the signing of former Arbroath defender Alan Rattray.
Rattray left last season’s Third Division champions to join Peterhead after three-and-a half years at Gayfield.
The 32-year-old is a very experienced and respected defender - playing over 300 games throughout his career.
He spent 12 seasons at Station Park with Forfar Athletic, before joining Arbroath where he helped them to promotion via the play-offs in 2008, and then the title last season.
This latest addition to the squad brings the total of new players up to nine.
Blue Toon boss John Sheran said: “Alan was a key player for Arbroath when they won the league last season, he is a versatile player that can play at right back or in central defence.
"Hopefully he will have the same impact at Peterhead in the push for promotion as he had at Arbroath.”
Rattray joins Barry Sellars, Bryan Deasley, Neil Duffy and Raymond Jellema who all joined the Balmoor side recently, along with Aaron Conway, Jamie Redman, Paul Watson and Roy McBain.
