A three-vehicle accident caused delays for commuters on the A90 between Aberdeen and Stonehaven.
The crash happened on the northbound carriageway at the Muchalls bends at 7.45am on Monday.
A Grampian Police spokesman said there were no injuries as a result of the collision.
He added: “One lane of the northbound carriage was blocked following the collision and traffic was building up in the area.
“The road was cleared around 8.15am.”
