Two climbers injured in incident near Loch Muick in Aberdeenshire

Mountain rescue: A full mountain rescue call was initiated.

Two climbers have been injured in an incident near Loch Muick in Aberdeenshire.

Grampian Police received reports of climbers injured by a rockfall in a gully at Eagle Ridge, Lochnagar, at around 12.30pm on Sunday.

Two men of a party of four were injured in the rockfall. They are believed to have leg injuries, possibly involving fractures.

A full mountain rescue call was initiated with teams dispatched to provide assistance to the people involved.
