A controversial Scottish brewery is planning offering free beer for life to anyone willing to get a tattoo of its logo.
Fraserburgh-based BrewDog, who just last week caused a storm by selling 55% alcohol beer in bottles served inside stuffed animals is considering making the offer on the opening night of its new bar.
A statement on the firm’s website said it was exploring, subject to Scottish licensing laws, the possibility of giving away one or two beers per week for life to anyone willing to get a tattoo at the opening of its Aberdeen pub.
The firm accused the media of ‘sensationalising’ the story. The statement added: “We will make a further announcement on this in due course when we have found out what is legally possible here.”
BrewDog’s The End of Time beer was criticised by animal welfare groups over the taxidermists animals used to package the £500 a bottle beer.
