A 13-year-old girl who went missing after leaving school on Wednesday has been found.
Police had said they were becoming “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of Siobhan McMenemy who was last seen at Aberdeen Grammar School at 3.35pm on Wednesday.
The force issued an urgent appeal for information about the teenager’s whereabouts on Thursday morning after she failed to return home.
However a Grampian Police spokesman said Siobhan has “been traced safe and well in Aberdeen”.
He added: “Officers would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.”
