A motorcyclist has collided with a car in an early morning crash in Aberdeen.

The incident happened around 6.45am on Wednesday on South Anderson Drive, near Rubislaw Playing Fields.

One southbound lane was blocked as a result of the incident.

A Grampian Police spokesman said that there were no reports of any injuries.

Motorists were warned to take extra care after the crash left an oil spill making the road surface slippery.
