Seven teenage boys have been charged after a man suffered serious injuries in an attack in Aberdeen.
The incident happened in Eric Hendrie Park, Deveron Road and Birkhall Place around midnight on Saturday August 4.
A 27-year-old man was left with a “serious facial injury” and a 24-year-old man was also injured.
A 14-year-old, two 15-year-olds have been charged along with four boys aged 16 in connection with the assault.
Constable John Murdoch, of Grampian Police, said: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank the public for their awareness and their assistance in this matter.
"Police rely on the vigilance of the public and the essential information they are able to provide is often vital to our enquiries."
Constable Murdoch added: "We are determined to tackle all aspects of violence and antisocial behaviour and although these arrests are a significant development, I would again ask, if anyone saw anything or if they have heard anything about it, I would like to hear from you and ask that you contact the police and share that information with us."
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
