The drugs were recovered by officers at Lerwick Ferry Terminal on Tuesday.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection and is expected to appear in court.
Police in Shetland are assisted by anti-drugs charity Dogs Against Drugs.
They regularly help officers carry out patrols at ferry terminals in the northern isles.
