The Duchess of Rothesay has opened a new nursery at the University of Aberdeen.

Camilla, who was appointed chancellor of the university in 2013, unveiled a plaque to mark the opening of the Rocking Horse nursery.

She also visited the the Sir Duncan Rice Library, a £57m building opened by the Queen in September 2012.

Students showed her rare manuscripts held in the university's collection, including the medieval Aberdeen Bestiary.
