A man who had been reported missing in Moray has been traced by police.
An RAF helicopter and the mountain rescue team had been involved in the search for Steven Michael Scott.
The 29-year-old had been last seen in the Burghead area about 10.30am on Tuesday and police were becoming “increasingly anxious” for his welfare.
A Grampian Police spokesman said that Mr Scott was traced “safe and well” in the Burghead area.
He added: “Grampian Police would like to thank the public and media agencies for their assistance.”
