Patients hit by norovirus winter vomiting bug at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary

Patients at an Aberdeen hospital ward have been struck down by the norovirus winter vomiting bug.

An NHS Grampian spokeswoman said there had been two confirmed cases at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary’s Ward 31.

She said that a couple of patients are in isolation as a precaution.

The ward will remain open for new admissions.
