A fisherman has been airlifted to hospital after falling into a harbour in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Peterhead Harbour just after 1pm on Thursday after reports of a man in the water.
Peterhead Lifeboat and Coastguard were involved in the rescue of the man who was pulled unconscious from the water near the quayside.
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “A male was conveyed to hospital by air ambulance after falling into the water at Peterhead Harbour.”
The man was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the extent of his injuries are still unknown.
Grampian Police said officers were at the scene just after 1pm.
