STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Swedish telecom equipment maker Ericsson said on Friday it had signed contracts with China's top three telecom operators to provide fixed-line broadband access.
Ericsson, the world's biggest mobile network maker, said in a statement China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom were upgrading their networks to provide services such as high-speed broadband and high-definition IPTV.
The company, which did not reveal any financial details on the deal, said it would also provide services such as training, network design, support services and consultancy.
