Police have identified two suspects they are searching for after a woman was left seriously assaulted in Inverness last year.

On Thursday, July 14, 2022, a 28-year-old woman was seriously assaulted on Blank Lane in the city around 2am.

Officers have now released descriptions and images of two men they believe hold information about the incident.

The first man is described as a white, in his 40’s, medium build, around 6ft tall, with a shaved head and no facial hair.

He was wearing a dark coloured gilet/body warmer, over a light blue t-shirt and light blue denim jeans. He also has a large tattoo on his right forearm.

The second male officers are keen to trace is described as white, in his 40’s, with brown hair.
