Around 100 acres of Highland moorland has been destroyed by fire.
Two fire engines attended the blaze at Grimshader near Stornoway on Sunday at around 2.40pm.
Crew used beaters and knapsack tanks to extinguish the blaze.
A Highland Fire & Rescue Service spokeswoman said there was no danger to any property during the fire.
In another blaze two acres of grassland and 20 mature pine trees were destroyed at Strontian, on the west coast, at around 4.50pm the same day.
Crews used one hosereel jet, beaters and knapsack sprayers to extinguish the flames.
