A large amount of fuel has been stolen from vehicles parked outside a remote Highland hotel.
Around 150 litres of red diesel was taken from the vehicles at the Cluanie Inn at Glenmoriston, off the A87 road to Kyle of Lochalsh.
It is thought that the fuel was taken sometime between April 1 and April 21.
In a separate theft, more than 700 litres of heating oil was stolen from an address on the Isle of Skye.
The oil was taken from a property at Harrapool sometime between 7.15am on April 12 and 9pm two days later.
Police investigating the thefts are now appealing for information from witnesses.
