A man who was reported missing in Orkney has been found.
The 48-year-old went missing just after 6pm on Thursday.
Shetland Coastguard and Northern Constabulary confirmed the man was found as the search for the night was being called off.
The condition of the 48-year-old is unknown.
Earlier, the alarm was raised in Scapa Flow after the man went missing.
A helicopter from Sumburgh and a lifeboat from Stromness and Longhope were involved in the search and rescue operation.
A spokesman from Northern Constabulary thanked the coastguard and the public for their assistance.
