The Met Office has issued a warning over possible snowfall across parts of Scotland this week.
On Tuesday up to 10cm of snow is expected across higher ground, according to the weather forecaster.
The central belt will be among the worst affected with snow predicted for ground 350m above sea level in the Highlands.
According to the Met Office, outbreaks of rain across Scotland on Monday evening and overnight will turn to snow on higher ground.
Sleet is also expected in some lower ground during the wintry weather spell.
The yellow warning is the least serious of those that the Met Office can flag up and it urges the public to ‘be aware’ of the risk of snow.
