One person has been injured in a chemical leak at an industrial estate in Inverness.

Police have set up a 200m cordon to keep people away from the amonia leak at Dalcross Industrial Estate.

Emergency services were called to the leak at around 4.10pm on Thursday afternoon.

One person was affected by the amonia and has been taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment.

A Northern Constabulary spokeswoman said fire crew had contained the "small' amonia spill.

The road from Ardesier to Inverness Airport is closed and people are being advised to stay away from the area.

The main entrance to the airport is open, via the A96 road.
