A memorial service took place on Monday evening for a teenager found dead at the weekend.
The body of Scott Campbell, 16, was found in the Culduthel area of Inverness on Sunday.
He had last been seen at around 5.15am on Saturday near a Tesco supermarket in the Inshes area of the city.
Northern Constabulary are treating his death as unexplained and a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
A service in memory of the teenage mechanic was held at Culduthel Christian Centre on Monday evening, led by Pastor Bill Slack.
Liz Campbell, who regularly attends the centre, said there was "terrific turnout" for the service.
She said: "There were a huge number of young people in attendance, along with Scott's family and friends.
"The centre was totally full, it was a terrific turnout for such a sad death."
Police had urged people to attend the service rather than visit the scene of the death.
Earlier on Monday pupils at Inverness Royal Academy, where Scott had attended until the summer, held a two-minute silence in his memory.
The school also held a special assembly for his year group.
Rector Alastair McKinlay said: "Scott was a very likeable lad, very personable. He was full of energy and had a great sense of humour.
"He was very popular with both staff and pupils. The whole community is shocked by this very, very sad news.
"Our thoughts are with his family at this time, particularly his sister Sarah, who is in first year."
Hundreds of people have left condolence messages on Northern Constabulary's Facebook page.
