Police searching for missing teenager Scott Campbell have found his body.
Northern Constabulary said the body of the missing 16-year-old was discovered in the Culduthel area of the city just before 10am on Sunday.
A police spokesman said: "The death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing.
"A Family Liaison Officer has been arranged to provide support to the family at this extremely difficult time. The family have asked that the media respect their privacy and allow them to grieve in peace."
A post mortem will be carried out and inquiries into the death, which is still being treated as unexplained, continue.
