Drugs worth around £14,000 have been seized by police officers in the Highlands.

Two men were arrested after officers discovered cocaine in a car on the A9 south of Inverness on Tuesday.

The car was stopped heading north in the Badenoch area.

A police spokesman said: “Two Inverness men aged 45 and 48 have been arrested and reported to the procurator fiscal.

“They are expected to appear in Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday.”
