A schoolgirl who hit the headlines after being banned from blogging about her school meals has received the celebrity chef treatment.
Nick Nairn cooked a special breakfast for Martha Payne, who attends Lochgilphead Primary, after she raised more than £100,000 for children in Malawi.
Argyll and Bute Council reversed its decision, donations began flooding into the youngster’s online fundraising page.
Martha, from Lochgilphead, initially decided to try and raise £7000 to build a kitchen for a school in Malawi through charity Mary’s Meals.
By June, six weeks after she started blogging, she was less than halfway towards her goal.
Then a social networking storm gained her worldwide publicity and sent donations soaring past the £50,000 mark in less than 24 hours.
The nine-year-old will travel to the African country next month.
