Golf lovers with a spare £1.35 million could treat themselves to a luxury mansion with its own nine hole golf course.
Invereshie House, near Kincraig, Inverness-shire, went on the market on Friday and comes with over 47 acres of land, a wine cellar, gun room, a keeper’s cottage and holiday homes.
Estate agents CKD Galbraith describe the golf course as "a challenging nine holes", with the longest hole at 295 yards and the shortest at 165 yards.
The property is a B-listed former shooting lodge in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, at one time home to the Macpherson-Grants of Ballindaloch and dates back to 1685.
CKD Galbraith say the private golf course is currently used by holiday guests and a group of locals, who are currently allowed to play when the owners are not in residence. In exchange, the members meet some of the maintenance costs through annual subscriptions.
The mansion, which sleeps 18 people, can be bought as either a private family home or as a holiday letting business.
Including in the sale are also five cottages, a number of stores, outhouses, an implement shed and a corrugated iron-clad former bothy - now used for storing hay.
Detailed planning consent has been granted by the CairngormsNational Park Authority to demolish three of the houses and to construct six new holiday cottages on the site.
John Bound, of CKD Galbraith, who is handling the sale said: "It is unusual to find such an interesting property in such a beautiful rural location, yet easily accessible to Perth and Inverness, that offers such versatility."
