A man had to be cut free from his car following a crash in Shetland.
The accident, involving one car, happened on the A970 near Bridge of Fitch at about 10am on Thursday.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the man from the wreck.
He was taken by ambulance to Gilbert Bain hospital in Lerwick, where he is receiving treatment for head and chest injuries.
His condition is not yet known.
