Drivers have been warned of an increased risk of landslides at the A83 at the Rest and Be Thankful.
The road in Argyll has been repeatedly blocked as a result of landslips, with it occurring once again earlier this month.
On Monday morning, Traffic Scotland issued a warning of "increased risk of landslide, drivers and road users must exercise extreme caution when travelling along the road" after heavy rainfall overnight.
After the last landslide on the stretch of road, on August 1, Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure Alex Neil visited the site and announced a taskforce to deal with the landslip-prone section of road.
It was the fifth time the road at the Rest and Be Thankful has been closed because of landslides in the past five years.
In June, the road was closed when heavy rain brought a high risk of a landslip. It was also shut in February and a landslide last December saw the route blocked for a week.
