A lorry overturned on the A82, blocking the road and causing delays for commuters.

The crash happened around four miles south of the village of Glencoe at 8.40am on Wednesday.

The driver escaped uninjured and police officers shut the road while the articulated lorry was recovered.

Diversions were in place via Ballachulish, Oban and Tyndrum for around four hours before the road reopened at 1pm.

Following the crash, a Police Scotland spokesman said: "A lorry fallen onto its side, blocking the road completely four miles south of Glencoe village.

"Recovery has been requested and Police officers are in attendance. We've also informed the ambulance and fire services."
