A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital after a collision with a lorry on a Highland road.
The man was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness following the crash on the A86.
He is currently being treated for a serious head injury.
Northern Constabulary said the accident happened at around 12.50pm on Wednesday at Kinloch Laggan.
The road has been closed in both directions to traffic and a police spokesman said it was expected to remain closed "for some time".
Motorists are being advised to use alternative routes.
