A 28-year-old was subjected to an early morning assault as she waited in a secluded area of Inverness.
The attack happened between 2.15am and 3.30am on on Saturday, July 21 near a railway bridge in Caulfield Road North in Cradlehall.
Her male attacker was described as being in his late teens to early 20s, wearing a dark coloured hooded top and stone-washed blue jeans.
A spokeman for Northern Constabulary said: "Enquiries are ongoing into this incident where a 28-year-old woman was assaulted.
"We would urge anyone who may have information related to this incident to come forward."
