A major search for a missing two-year-old girl has been called off after she was found safe and well.
Hope Mackay was reported missing from the Anderson Street area of Inverness on Tuesday afternoon.
She was reported missing at around 12.30pm and was found in a nearby property shortly after 3pm.
A number of officers as well as coastguard officials were carrying out inquiries in and around this area in order to trace the whereabouts of the child.
The River Ness was also being searched.
A spokesman for Northern Constabulary said police coordinated a large-scale search involving police officers, search teams and the British Red Cross and Coastguard.
The toddler had been playing in the area of The Moorings, Anderson Street, Inverness with other children, when she was reported missing.
