Police are investigating the sudden death of a woman in Inverness.
The death was reported to police at around 8pm on Monday.
The woman was found at an address in Fairfield Road.
Police said that inquiries are at an early stage.
No further information will be issued until all next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination will take place in due course and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
