A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged serious assault.
The 42-year-old is being detained in police custody.
It comes after a 45-year-old man was allegedly assaulted in Kirk Street, Dunoon in the early hours of Monday.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
It is expected that the man will appear at Dunoon Sheriff Court on Monday, June 4.
