Two men have been rescued after their boat ran aground in Shetland.
Shetland Coastguard received several 999 calls at around 8pm on Thursday.
A spokeswoman for the coastguard said that the small boat had ran aground at the east of Shetland.
The Lerwick Lifeboat and the Sumburgh Coastguard helicopter were sent to the scene.
Whalsay Sailing Club's emergency craft was in the area and took the two men on board.
The boat, named the Valhalla, has a badly damaged hull and pumps are now on board to try and get the water out of the boat.
The boat is now sitting at Symbister and the damage will be assessed in the morning.
Both men are fine and nobody needed to go to hospital.
