Obama wants climate bill passed this year: Senator

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama still wants Congress to pass a climate bill this year, Republican Senator Susan Collins told reporters on Tuesday after meeting with the president. Obama gathered key Republican and Democratic senators at the White House to talk about the climate bill, seeking to jump-start stalled efforts to overhaul U.S. energy policy.
