The public have been warned to be on the look out for dangerous medication which has been lost in Livingston town centre.
200 capsules of Hydroxyurea were misplaced on Tuesday 10 January.
The tablets, which are used to treat haematological cancers, are large, white and packed in plain coloured boxes with blue print. The tablets are packaged in boxes branded Hydroxycarbamide.
Taken in small quantities the pills can cause drowsiness, nausea, vomiting and diahorrea, but in large quantities the medication could prove to be life threatening.
If it is suspected that anyone has consumed any of this medication they should call a doctor immediately.
If found this medication should be handed in at a local police station or pharmacy.
Anyone with any information regarding the tablets should contact Lothian and Borders Police on 0131 311 3131.
