An exhibition honouring Scotland’s comedy greats is opening this weekend.
Tickling Jock celebrates 75 years of laughter and features portraits of Sir Harry Lauder and Billy Connolly.
Visitors at the Scottish Portrait Gallery will also be treated to archive television footage of the Scots entertaining the nation.
The show traces Scottish comedy from the stars of the music hall through stage, gramophone, radio to television and film.
As well as enjoying the routines on offer, visitors can record their own comedy performance.
Tickling Jock opens on Saturday and runs until May next year.
