A dozen models will strut their stuff in aid of Edinburgh’s Sick Kids hospital at a specially organised fashion show.

Organisers say all VIP tickets for the event at Hawke and Hunter nightclub for the show on Thursday night have gone.

But a few last minute £5 tickets were still available and included the chance to take part in a charity raffle too.

Taking place in the venue’s ‘Green Room’, it is being staged by Bright Side Models who said: “We are proud to be given the chance to raise money for one of Edinburgh’s favourite charities.

“This is going to be a fabulous night of fashion, fun and fundraising.”

Poppy Malone, one of those behind the show, said they expected hundreds of people to turn out to see the event which features clothes donated by boutiques right across the city.

And the former model has a special interest because her daughter Katy will be among those taking part.

She said: “The Sick Kids is just one of those things that everybody wants to get behind because of the great work that they do.

“Tickets have gone really well, we expect a big turnout and hopefully people will really, really enjoy themselves.

“We’ve had great support from so many people, and there are some really brilliant raffle prizes up for grabs too.

“It looks like it will be a great night.”

Doors open at 6.30pm and all guest will also receive free entry to Vanity at the Opal Lounge for the show’s after party later.
