A renewed appeal has been issued for a missing Bathgate man who has not been seen for a week.

Concerns are growing for the welfare of Allan Shepherd, who was last seen in the Fauldhouse area at around 7pm on Tuesday, January 26.

Mr Shepherd, who is 6ft 4in, of slim build and with short grey hair, has not been in contact with friends or family since. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black fleece and black boots.

Sergeant John Fleming, of Livingston Police Station, said: “This behaviour is out of character for Allan and we’re conducting various inquiries in the local area as part our efforts to trace him.

"I’d ask anyone who believes they may have seen Allan in the last week, or has any information about his whereabouts, to get in touch as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
