LONDON (Reuters) - Soft drinks maker Britvic
Britain's second biggest soft drinks maker behind Coca-Cola Enterprises
Britvic was expected to report an average pretax profit of 82.7 million pounds for the year, according to a Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S poll of 13 analysts.
The company, whose brands include Robinsons, Tango and J2O, raised the final dividend by 23.9 percent to 10.9 pence and said the outlook was positive, despite limited earnings visibility in British and Irish markets.
"Recent conditions in the British soft drink market have shown some signs of improvement but we take a cautious view of consumer spending. However, we are encouraged by our strong group performance in the early weeks of the new financial year," the company said in a statement.
Shares in Britvic, which also has exclusive rights to sell Pepsi in Britain and Ireland, closed at 372.50 pence on Tuesday, valuing the group at around 808 million pounds.
